Creation of Faculty Awards
The administration shall consult the Academic Senate and the Faculty Leaves and Honors Committee before creating any new University-wide faculty award. This consultation should result in the establishment of criteria for granting the award, as well as the required procedures, timelines, and materials. The resultant information shall be included with the initial announcement of any new faculty, awards. The Faculty Leaves and Honors Committee shall be responsible for the evaluation and the recommendation of faculty to receive such honors.
